Our Concerns- “The Malaise”
As members of the American community, we are “thunderstruck” by our current “malaise.”
As scientists, we offer our “diagnosis” that our malaise is “overdetermined” by a multitude of factors that have shifted the American policy from “building” to “consuming.” (Consumption now accounts for 70% of GDP.)
As policy-making citizens, we offer our “prescription” that the solution emphasizes elevating and accelerating the relationship between economic freedom and entrepreneurial enterprise.
As entrepreneurs, we give our “prognosis” for accelerating and escalating prosperity:
Under conditions of elevated economic freedom, entrepreneurs and their companies will generate 80% of the technological innovation that will produce 80% of the job creation and contribute 50% of our escalating levels of prosperity.
